Does anyone know a riddle/brain teaser called the elephant game???

This one guy in skool gave a few girls, including me, a riddle/brain teaser to solve... now we solved that one, and he gave us another one, Also, he is getting a little ,more popular w/ these riddles, mostly girls are interested in solving them, so every morning b4 the bell rings for cl, there is a huge m of girls surrouding him asking him to tell us the secret to the teaser... but he never tells us... So this is how the riddle goes, he has many different examples of it so here's one that he gave us... this is exactly wat he said, "There are 5 elephants behind sheetal, there are 10 behind me. How many are behind Tracey?" and the answer , he said, was six, now all of mi friends and i, plus a few teachers, thought counting the syllables** or letters in the person's name, but he says, this is his clue to us, it has nothing to do with the numbers or locations/names... and the only mathematical operation u have to do is count, but WAT do we COUNT!!?? plz help all of us figure it out!!
