I want to know which one is the best physical chemistry book out there?

I am taking physical chemistry this fall, and I want to start studying from now! The textbook required for my cl is physical chem by atkins. Can anybody let me know which ones are the best ones! I want a book that is going to explain me step by step how to approach to problems....I have a solid background in calc I,II,III and differential of equations. Thanks
