I changed my valves and lapped them in but now when I pour solvent in the runners it slowly leaks!!?

you put in new valves? valves don't come ready to install. they have to be ground properly in a valve machine to the vehicle manufacturer's specs, and so do the seats. go ahead and slap it back together. you will learn a lesson from the school of hard knocks.
