Changes to oris following menopause?

*graphic discussion alert* Since menopause (2 1/2 years ago) I have noticed pronounced shrinking of my and surrounding labia. It has not affected per say but there is little flesh to work with... I can feel pubic bone underneath and there is sometimes a sharp pain at the moment of . Would hormone replacement help restore the tissue? I do not have lubricating problems but this shrinkage has really depressed me.
