If i seriously like my best guy friend what do i do? help please!!?

I have known my friend for 12 years and we started becoming really good friends about 4 years ago. I dated some of his friends a few years back and he will never let that go. Our families are really good friends and we spend some holidays together and he always follows me around and irritates me. Sometimes i think hes doing it just to get a reaction out of me...could this be true? All summer we texted and goofed around...one night we even watched a movie and he snuggled beside me (after we had been drinking). He also always jokes with me and teases me but he's like that with a lot of his friends that are girls. Sometimes when we talk he says love ya or miss you chica. And i can sometimes get him to talk seriously with me which he hardly ever does. I second-guessed that i liked him all summer and now that he's gone at school i know i really do have feelings for him. What should i do? Leave it alone and see what happens when he comes back or say something now? Please help me
